FULL LED LIGHTING

Every detail of the CBR650R has been designed for passionate riders. The premium, dual LED headlights feature new reflectors and throw out crisp white beams, marking out this motorcycle’s difference. And the taillight has a sleek, minimalist form.

LCD DISPLAY

The view forward from the cockpit is pure sports. The digital LCD instruments are clear and now even easier to read, because you need the information, fast. Gear Position and Shift Up indicators are included in the display.

PUTTING THE R INTO THE CBR

The CBR650R has honed its racetrack DNA for aggressive road performance. The footpegs and handlebars give you the optimal riding position, for fluid movement around the machine, finding the perfect cornering balance as you tackle thrilling roads. The front tyre is beautifully weighted, for precise turn-in capability, while the 180-section rear has huge grip. Up front, piercing dual LED headlights fill out the tightly wrapped fairing, mirrored by the minimal seat unit and re-shaped, slimmer side panels. Even the rear number plate mount has been sharply re-styled. And, the electrifying roar of the exhaust, chasing the redline will make your hair stand on end.

The inline four-cylinder DOHC 16-valve engine is built to be used. Close, short gearing and a smooth rush of power delivers exhilarating acceleration – and then there’s the evocative howl as rpm climbs high. It’s addictive. An assist/slipper clutch eases upshifts and manages hard down changes, while Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) maintains rear wheel traction. It’s an engineering masterpiece. Have fun with it.
